Rolling Stone: The definitive source on American Culture on Chinese Culture, on the subject of Tibet

The new issue of Rolling Stone came on Monday, and it has this really good article in it about the current situation in Tibet.  As most of us probably know, Tibet is not officially a country, it’s almost like the Puerto Rico of China, but with a lot more unrest. This article touches on some very important cultural issues that i feel are relevant to our class.  Tibetans are definitely an ethnic minority in the population of China, and this article discusses how Tibetans are swiftly becoming minorities in their own land, subjected to racial discrimination and repression by the Chinese government.  Read the article and let me know what you think!
