China: is it really a menace to American manufacturing? April 4, 2007

I came across this article while i was looking at Chinese cars that will come into the U.S. Market sometime soon. Anyway, I found it very interesting that the article did not say that America is doomed because of factory jobs going to Chinese plants. Usually, that seems to be the case. People say that the Chinese are stealing our jobs, like they wait outside Wal-Mart waiting to beat up unsuspecting Americans while they are going to work. This article mentions that while the U.S. factories have to pay their workers much more, they still make more money than the Chinese ones. This article is a little bit of an eye opener, because i’m sure i’m not the only one who has preconcieved notions about China and its manufacturing sector.
